We are seeking a well-groomed, friendly, and professional Front Office Shift Leader to be the welcoming face of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing online and telephone bookings, and verifying payment methods during check-in.
You should demonstrate a pleasant disposition, maintain a professional attitude with both guests and team members, and contribute to delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for this role.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greet and check guests in and out efficiently and courteously.
- Manage reservations made via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Verify payment methods and process transactions during check-in.
- Assign rooms and inform guests about available hotel promotions or special offers.
- Coordinate transportation services upon guest request.
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and policies.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and activities to assist guests with recommendations.
- Act as a host for conferences and events, ensuring all preparations are in place and guest needs are met.
Hotel Front Desk Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in French or another language is an asset.
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional appearance and well-presented demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt on the job.
